WICO doesn’t have a pristine reputation because it marks some NPC as essential for no reason, effectively granting them immortality. It will require patching with both xedit scripts and band-patching or it will break vanilla quests and spit back characters with blackface. {Diversity, Inhabitants of Skyrim, Humans Mer and Beastfolk} are all better choices.
