I am trying to get good at this game, and have taken a recent liking to the play style of Tao. Another thing to note is I really love building characters in games, so recommendations for scrolls and ascension would be much appreciated. For weapons I like using the angelic aura and the fire tower.

So, I've really been enjoying Tao so far, and I pretty quickly worked out a playstyle for her that I think is quite good for consistent wins, def not a speedrun build though. I focus on getting damage output from her blossom and heart blade abilities and just use weapons for status effects. Dual Fang for high fire rate and corrosive/fire combo, gemini with any shock weapon to get all three ...The three scrolls at the bottom are a slot machine, try to get all 3 to the same color and it'll deal more damage. Use q to draw em. The scrolls u get throughout the game increase the chance of better draws, normal, rare, legendary. with cursed cards as "Wild Cards" that basically act as whatever the other highest card drawn is. He's cool. #3.

Turtle is the easiest to get to an op state and the most consistent. Build synergy is key. The characters that have builds that don't rely on getting great weapons will almost always out-dps the ones that do rely on weapons.
