The fund tracks a market-weighted index of debt issued by the US Treasury with remaining maturities of 20 years or more. TLT was launched on Jul 22, 2002 and is issued by BlackRock.
The fund generally invests at least 90% of its assets in the bonds of the underlying index and at least 95% of its assets in U.S. government bonds.
