Subject: Re: JD 1780 as soybean only planter. Croswell, Michigan. I had one and you can't make it a 24 row as is. The only way to do it is to mount a second 7x7 bar behind the origional main 7x7 frame bar. The second bar has to be alittle longer to be able to mount units behind the hinge area.
