The 30 series was simply designed as combat guns and intended for combat loads. With those, the G30 was uber reliable. To make a long story short, the G30 quickly became my favorite Glock. I use the Vickers magazine release on my G30SF (and on all my Glocks). The extended mag release is too long, I think, especially shooting left handed. The Vickers is a mid-length release, and is subtly rounded on the edges to make is easier on the hand.If I could get a 30SF slide/barrel for about $300 it would be worth considering.
