As an update though, I was able to use the ignition method to program an old key fob I had from a 2000 Explorer that was never used. (we got 3 with the car) So now all I need to buy is a key with a transponder and not the integrated key... That should save me $100 as the dealer quoted me $90 for the key alone not knowing I had the integrated key.
