The problem I am having is that, when I put the truck in drive, the truck dies (Like Drive is a kill switch). An AOD has a drain plug behind the metal plate on the front of the transmission. On my AODE (4r70w) in my 2000 CrownVic, they supposedly drained the converter when I paid Ford to change my fluid. I am pretty sure that rubber boot is how you get to it. I think the fluid capacity will depend on the vehicle it is in.
