Aug 21, 2016 · I ran 38in hancook mud terrains on 18in wheels with a 8in fabtech on my 2006 f350. 6in didn't clear it enough for my comfort. The truck was mostly a pavement queen but I took it to north Idaho and towed a lot etc. I also ran 39.5 with 14.5r18s toyo mts with an 8in superlift on a 2004 f350 only had VERY MINOR rubbing on leaf springs etc. 04cr450. Not a chance in powerstroke he** will 37's fit on a 04 superduty leveled... I have a leveling kit and have 33's and will rub slightly if turning hard left or right.. Gonna need a 4" lift min. with at least 4.5" backspacing on wheels to fit them and that will be close even. I have a 2017 F250 6.2L 3.73 with the 275/70r18 tires. Those tires are basically 33's and it does just fine, but you would definitely want a steeper gear with 37's.

Gear questions for 37" tires. I have a 2015 6.7 powerstroke with 37" tires and a 6" lift with stock 3.55 gears. I was wondering what would be the best gear ratio for the 37s? I'm only running about 1700 rpm at 70mph and 1000rpm at 55mph. The truck is very sluggish in 5 and 6 gear. It takes a while for the turbo to spool up because rpm are so low.

I really cant see a size differance between 20's and 22's when the rim is black if i would have noticed this before i paidd for 22's and 37's I would have went with 20's and 35's. Less lift and less rubber = better performance, MPG, less wear and tear on your truck, cost of tires.

37s vs 35s. Currently running a ReadyLift 2.5" spacer level on 35x12.50x20 Toyo AT2s. It looks good but the tire doesn't fill the wheel well as much as I'd like it to. I'm switching to a Carli Suspensions 2.5" Coil Spring kit. I'm going to get the Toyo AT3 and keep them on the stock 20" Lariat wheels.
