bofa is pretty decent without armor, not incredible however. I did see semtecks use the bofa at zuk for the extended range. 1 def iron yes (no scale/dart supply), 1 def normie just use blowpipe with amethyst darts. Its same strength as diamond bolts, more accuracy than acb and faster. Like no downside.At my range lvl (95) crystal bow hits 37, and Bofa hits 44. Just factoring in max hit rhe bofa is about a 20% increase in dps, and that isnt even including the accuracy difference. You lose abiut 40 accuracy aswell 20% - 25% damage is a massive amount, especially in a game where we pay 100s of millions of gold for a 2% dps increaseAlso: if anyone has any cool / fun / niche / useful places to use bowfa maybe someone haven't thought of thatd be awesome! I personally use the crystal armour at other places for some extra prayer during ranging (great for slayer tasks you pray on, dag kings, hydra, guardians etc, it also has higher ranged def than arma !) For tob I only bring range for the big nylo so I just bring bowfa crystal chest and anguish. 30% accuracy and 15% damage boost is insanely strong though I would highly recommend getting the set

Bofa is better. Zcb and buckler with dragon rubies. Seems like for speedruns tbow is better but for consistency bowfa out shines. You can get pretty insane times with tbow (I have a 1:30 pb with tbow) but with bowfa you're getting more consistent 1:50-2:00 times compared to tbow which can sometimes take up to 2:30-3 minutes.Crystal with bowfa blows it away and is a game changer.
