Hi, My 10 year old AC stopped cooling recently and it was determined by an HVAC guy who came out that the reason being was because the 2 of the wires connecting to the compressor had melted off. The recommendation was to either buy a new compressor or a whole new unit, both of which are expensive.C fan , herm. i have a carrier 2000 ss. there is a yellow wire, a darker yellow wire, a blue, and a brown. 4 altogether. i am using a titan pro trcfd455 capacitor. tried searching for any type of wiring diagrams but no luck. any help is much appreciated! here are some pic showing what im dealin with.
