I bought a 2023 300 XC-W because I needed a new bike and that's what is available right now. I am also not a fan of first year new tech either, especially when it comes to KTM lol. I only have a few hours on my 2023 but I couldn't be more pleased and I look forward to hopefully many hours/years of fun on it.

It should still have a heavy crank and flywheel compared to XC-F. KTM has promised this bike to be less restrictive than XCF-Ws of the past, as it's supposed to be a "racer," not just a trail bike.
