It shows up in the contacts as a neutral faction and it's only unit is the portal itself. Since this happened the Unbidden have made no further expansion attempts and just sit still in their already captured systems.Fighting the Unbidden, rushed their spawnpoint but the dimensional portal "cannot be attacked". I guess I have to destroy a dimensional anchor first, but I can't actually find any and the situation log doesn't give me the ability to track anchors (even though it says one exists).

I noticed that you can either take a choice to seal the dimensional portal or not; sealing it adds another section to the astral rift plot, which then concludes. Not sealing it ends the rift plot immediately and generates a wormhole. I didn’t check what’s on the other side of the wormhole, but it’s presumably some kind of threat.
