She’s also more of an Assassin than a Lancer, which is odd considering we just got an AoE Quick Assassin. She’s about as generic as an AoE unit gets, and while she’s not terrible, there’s really ... This is a must-pull Servant if ever there’s been one, but even if you miss her (by choice, luck, or timing) a single Altria pulled off your support list will make your life drastically easier. This is a surprisingly crowded anniv season. Right on the heels of Arc, we get Proto Merlin, making her mobile FGO debut as a summer unit, despite having never had her base version released. Usage Tips: Fran is a point servant for Quick teams, and despite her defensive utility she’s primarily built to move fast. Skadi is, of course, a great partner for her—Fran loves the Quick buff, and Skadi’s battery can cover a turn of bad card luck—but Fran’s unusual kit means she can also function well with more atypical partners. Quick teams still lack the stability of Arts teams and the damage of Buster teams, but Skadi does give Quick teams access to a little of both. They have a fair number of consistency tools, but no ways to handle distinct CQ gimmicks and no hard survival tools.
