Master lost sector not dropping exotics.
Ran yesterday's Legend one and got legs 4/6 runs, did 5 runs today and not a single exotic arm dropped... Also got no cores on 1 run, which combined with no exotic's or even legendary items dropping was just pure poop. At least I got the load out sorted, Ticcu's, kinetic sniper (long shadow) and Bad Omens makes it much easier than running with the SAW MG for the heavy weapon.

The approximately 10% drop rate increase doesn't compensate for the increase in time it takes to run the sector on Master. Yeah, I mostly run Legend but I thought Master was close to a 50% drop rate.

If I had to guess I'd say the Legendary lost sector drop rate is around 10% and master is around 20% to 25%. Last seasons lost sector exotics are now in the general exotic pool. So, you are correct, you can get the gloves from a random drop. For example, I got Necrotic Gloves from the nightfall last night.
Today, I am farming the same lost sector on Master (1350), where it says the exotic is common and not rare, but yet I find myself getting the exotics to drop way less.
