Tradovate and TS have pros and cons. TradeStation software is much more powerful. Their desktop app only runs on Windows though. Their mobile app is good although wouldn't really ever want to be trading on a phone. Commission is higher and futures margins are significantly higher.If you connect the 2 then the data feed that you pay for on tradovate can be used on tradingview. Also if you so desire you could use tradingview to actually place trades through tradovate. Tradingview has this option available for a couple of different brokers. To do it go to tradovate settings, "add ons" and look for the tradingview option. Nothing compares to NinjaTrader's extensive ecosystem of custom indicators and development tools. There are cheaper platforms (SierraCharts) there are better DOM's (Jigsaw Daytradr), but NinjaTrader's advantage is the programming. Particularly when it comes to writing things that rely on order flow or depth of market analysis. C# is a memory hog.Free platform. Comparable if not cheaper commissions than AMP. For scalpers i would say tradovate is the way to go if you get the commission free trading package.
