Remove the lids of the motor control modules pressing the lid release tabs on the top and bottom. Press the program button on the motor control module. The green LED should start blinking. Press the stop button on the motor control module. It is the centre button on the top of the unit. The green LED should now be solid.

If there are current limiters I have not seen them (but then why would they not be mentioned in the manual). It sounds like there are two (maybe three) types of Girard awnings: 1) Girard ACMC - which has current limiters and a control box. No limit adjustment screws. 2) Girard 1500/2000 - with limit adjustment screws.

Re: Girard b-25 awning motor. I think it is a Girard G-2000 lateral arm patio awning. If it is located partially recessed into an opening, It is an issue to replace the motor.
