There should be a little antenna wire from the remote start module that goes around the ignition. If it is not programmed properly, the factory anti theft is designed to shut the vehicle down after 3 seconds. The Valet has a little less range than the Mopar, and does not have the option to stop the engine by pressing again, just a customizable time to cutoff.
