Yes recent precons such as the Warhammer 40k ones are quite strong comparatively but one thing with every precon is that they only win with combat damage. They also usually have some cards that don't synergize with the deck, too many lands that enter tapped, high CMC with not enough ramp to keep up and not enough card draw sources ...See, I played 40k briefly in college and enjoyed it (but broke college guy =/= good GW customer) and lost touch with it. Didn't care so much about the 40k aspect. But I wanted to grab them bc I like precons and these had tons of new cards.
