Don't know if this is intentional or if it's somehow broken or overpowered. Well.. actually the literal answer here is the Polaris. It's the cheapest ship with a capital radar. Not sure how scanning vs radar will play out. Far as I know, only the Polaris and Javelin have capital class radar. Mole seems to top out at about 1200 range while cirty red scans great. If you have the option; put a pilot in cutty red to locate rocks and use mole to harvest. Really hope this gets addressed soon as I'd expect the larger, multicrew (and more expensive ship) to have better scan range than single operator craft. r/starcitizen.May 31, 2023 ...
