GShade was a custom built ReShade program which worked well with FFXIV and prevents clashes with the UI, while also coming with an easy installer and almost all the required shaders. This uses the base shaders that come with reshade, not the custom ones that were tweaked for XIV that gshade used. Some preset makers are adapting their stuff to the base reshade architecture, while others are still relying on old gshade shaders that you now have to go looking for on the Internet.

ReShade 3 actually has most (and probably all) of the shaders you'll need, so converting the preset is as simple as applying the same settings to the same ReShade 3 shaders as were in the old preset.
