Kawasaki prairie 360 carburetor adjustment.
Rotate the motor while watching the intake valve open and close. Go to the T mark on the flywheel. This is TDC on the compression stroke. Adjust the intake valve to .13mm and the exhaust to .18mm (these settings work best for your motor). Rotate the motor over a few times and double check your work. That's it.

On the pilot jet air screw you turn it in until it is just barely bottomed - do not tighten it - then back it out the specified turns. That is your starting place for a good idle. You can tweak the screw in or out up to a full turn to get a nice smooth idle without any missing or lumpyness on a fully warmed engine.

While holding a steady, high idle, use the adjustment tool (short screwdriver that will fit in the space under the carb) to slowly screw the fuel mixture screw clockwise. Tighten the screw until the engine rpm drops (and nearly dies), then slowly turn the screw back out, counterclockwise. So, the short answer is no. If you are bogging at full throttle and have none of the ignition symptoms, you need to disassemble the carburetor and check the main jet. It is either too small or plugged.
