A RSX 850 clutch intake is up next to the air filter. The exhaust is a little lower but is still up out of the water. You should no be sucking water unless the water is in you lap. The clutch housing is sealed except for the intake and exhaust.

Clutch issues. Our Deere Rep stopped by the shop yesterday and I asked about some stuff to include the 825i and 550 clutch issues. According to him, there is a fix coming out for the drive clutches on the 825i that will either be a clutch/belt replacement or a rework of the clutch.
