I've tried setting the dns to Google's, and setting it to get from ISP. Nothing works. At least nothing beyond the router works. I've power cycled, and rebooted in the router setup. I'm afraid there is a problem with modem since I can't get to system control center.

I'm getting kicked because I can't connect with the call of duty data center. My internet connection is fine, I can surf everywhere and even connect to the call of duty servers but I can't shake hands with the data center to play the game. Something in the Hughes Net system is firewalling me from making that one connection.
10-30-2017 08:10 AM. Sorry for the confusion, meant wifi password on back of modem. New to HughesNet and I could not mannually connect to wifi using password on back of modem. So I compared the Password Setting to the modem label. Label has one capital letter and the wifi password shown in the System Control Center does not. It must be a misprint.You are not obligated to pay into a system that doesn't work for you. Having Hughesnet is not mandatory. Satellite internet is a limited resource -- users need to adapt their ways to the available technology and not expect the technology will bend to their whims and wishes.The culprit was windows security enabling memory integrity in device security settings. Turning it off allowed control center to work normally without instantly crashing.
