Crystal helm is always going to give you the most damage and accuracy when using bowfa (excluding Slayer helmet). If you want, you can use serp at zulrah so you don't need antivenoms but you're sacrificing dmg and accuracy. Same goes for justicar helmet in inferno for example. 7. Reply.
Tbow is worse dps than BP/trident. The whole point is that you can just afk the boss. No. If you're using mage gear then tbow isn't worth taking at all. BP is better on mage phase, mage is better on green and red. Tbow is only useful for last hitting mage phase when using mage gear. Use tbow only or BP + mage.

Reasons I prefer BofA: - I don't have to bring blowpipe. this is a mistake for solos at least. tbow should be a considerable upgrade on p2/p3/p4 and zebak over bowfa. The ACB WITHOUT a Twiested Buckler deals better DPS than the Bowfa making Bowfa useless at Nex. The T bow is only a +0.03 DPS difference compared to the ACB (with Twisted buckler) so you are better off using a crossbow regardless. Your trips will last a lot longer. T bow is amazing on minions , blood reavers, and when Nex is below 400 HP though.
It is a common misconception that using better arrows doesn’t make a difference against Zulrah. The initial damage roll still rolls between 0-maxhit then any damage roll above a 50 rerolls to a random value between 45-50. Therefore hitting above 50 more often will result in more 45-50 hits.Bowfa is a long enough grind without making it 10x longer with deaths and slow clears. Maybe greenlog Perilous Moons, do slayer until trident, then TOA for Fang. Doing Zulrah makes way more sense after a cg grind since you need bowfa for CoX and other things anyways. So why not do CG first. Makes more sense. But then I realised that I need occult for CoX which means I need to do more slayer. I also need Zenytes from Demonics which means I need black demon task.

At ToA a Bowfa will carry you through Zebak, Baba, and Wardens with ease in a 150. You can probably push into the 250-300 range before you start to feel the lack of Fang.
