But it’s a solid car, just like the Crosstrek. The wildcard is the 23+ Crosstrek. There are spy shots online, but we don’t know much about it other than it being an entirely new car. After a month of ownership of a 2022 Hybrid XLE premium, here are my thoughts/opinions. I did a two week road trip from the Mid-Atlantic out through Colorado and Utah skiing, about 4500 miles in total. This is also my first Toyota. The Rav4 is a decent car but it's overpriced by about $5k. It has one thing going for it: it's a Toyota, which means it'll probably last a while. If that's the most important thing to you, buy the Rav4. But other than that, it's a worse value than almost every one of its competitors (particularly the CX-5, CR-V, Tucson, and Rogue). Rav is our adventure-mobile and the Camry is the on the town date night car. The Rav has more creature comforts such as a power lift gate, but the Camry has a nicer quality of interior in my opinion. The Camry gets slightly better gas mileage but costs more to fill up due to the Rav having a smaller tank.

After reading every review out there, it sounded like the Rav4 had significantly higher cabin noise and potentially harsh on bad roads. That being said, the Venza drives very well. My biggest surprise is how well the hybrid system works. After a couple days you dont even notice the engine cycling on and off. Also, storage capacity looks limited by that sloping roof. Hope the styling reverts back to the previous, less boxy generation. The Camry will debut this summer (2023) after the new Tacoma not in 2024. Camry will be a 2024 MY. Toyota never changes much so don't expect much.

Hello. I am highly considering buying this 2011 rav 4 limited v6. It has a pretty high price on it given it’s age ($16,500) but in my area that’s average right now. It has only 106k miles and has had 1 owner with a clean car fax. He’s not really willing to go lower on the price and in my area for an older car the interest is like 10% but ...

Front seats are good, nothing special. Back seats are kinda flat and hard but fine - probably want a small pillow or two for day long road trips for passengers in the back, but most vehicles in this price range are similar. If your under 6ft its plenty of room."A new rough-and-tumble Woodland Edition of the RAV4 Hybrid joins the lineup for 2023. Along with all-terrain tires, the Woodland Edition sports a TRD suspension kit, bronze-colored wheels, a roof rack, mud flaps, black exterior badging, and a special set of all-season floor mats sporting the Woodland Edition logo. If you’re doing constant long range driving like this person, the advantages of a hybrid are less. Curious how an HRV even remotely fit into your search. It’s a much smaller and cheaper car than the 50 and RAV4. CRV would be the best comparison to the group (we traded a 2017 EX-L to get our 2023 CX-50 Turbo P).

Nothings changed for the 22 model as far as sound deadening goes. It’s a fairly noisy cabin with a fairly noisy engine. Like people have stated before you need to step up to the Venza or a Lexus to have a quieter ride. If you’re coming from a five or 10 year old vehicle it’s going to be pretty quiet to you. [deleted] I find Subaru's Eyesight system better than the TSS in some regards, but the Forester doesn't have lane centering like the RAV4. It's really a personal preference thing between these two for me. Yes it does. 2021+ subaru eyesight has lane centering. Looks like they added it to the Forester in 2020 actually.

RX350h >> RAV4 I like the RAV4 hybrid. I think it's a great car but the RX is so much more nicer. Especially if you're going to have it for 10 years, might as well have it a nicer 10 years. Performance-wise, they're similar. Gas mileage, the RAV4 hybrid is ~10% better but the RX350h is still pretty frugal. I haven't needed to lock the diff in the 4yrs I owner the Rav4. 🤷 It's really about slow acceleration, driving for the conditions (slower), and keeping enough stopping distance in the snow. Hybrid (or even Eco mode for the gas models) let's you control acceleration better so you don't step on it too fast from a dead stop. 2024 Rav4. This give the prime a 2500 lbs tow capacity (in US) vs a 1750 lbs on the Hybrid. It also allows the Prime to go 0-60 in 5.4 sec vs 7.3 in the hybrid. Packages may differ as well. It was a great choice and I have had no regrets. Very satisfied. I also considered the Honda CR-V Hybrid, but it didn't have a spare tire (must have for me), and the Subaru Forester, but they haven't brought back the hybrid yet. Herbisretired. ADMIN MOD. How Did I Do? I Bought a 2024 RAV4 XLE. I walked into the dealership to purchase a brand new 2024 RAV4 XLE and we started with an OTD of $35,700. Four hours later of persistent negotiating and annoying the dealers, I left with the OTD being $32,500 with a 5.9% rate for 72 months. The RAV4 hybrid e-CVT is a completely different design, it's a planetary gear set with two motor-generators (ie. no belts, no chains). It is extremely reliable, even more so than a regular torque converter automatic, and the way it harvests energy and uses the motor-generators is simple, reliable but highly effective. I decided I wanted a smaller crossover hybrid. Looked at all the different cars and narrowed the list down to the CRV Hybrid Touring AWD or the RAV4 Hybrid Limited. Base pricing is almost identical - $39,530 RAV4 Limited vs $39,500 CRV Touring. I read the RAV4 is less expensive but this doesn't seem to be the case for this trim.

The cost difference between Hybrid Limited and Prime is around $10,000. For this money you can purchase 2500 gallons. (assume $4/gallon). You would need to drive the Prime for 100,000miles (@40 mpg) before amortizing the investment. However the Hybrid is noisy with a Poor quality passenger seat.

Oh strange. My 2005 camry I thought had a 5 speed 4 cylinder. Just to jump in here, I recently bought a 2010 RAV4 Sport v6 4WD. Bought it certified with about 69K miles for around $15000. Price was good for my area, and it had an excellent CarFax with consistent service records, one owner, no accidents, etc. I love it.
