Yes but the wad guide wont go down far enough to get the wad in. Even when theres no shell under the guide. I have never owned a MEC press yet where i did not have to lay a wad pedal on the shot. tube and "flex" it around the corner and into the wad guide.They do not fit under the shot. tube and over the wad guide.

MEC sure did get confusing on this one, because the part numbers for the pre-82 600 jr die set and the 83-85 set are the same (8335XX). On the other hand, Ballistics Products uses 1983 as the crossover point and lists the newer style die set (8452XX) for anything after 1983.The 600 Jr. is an inexpensive and fairly efficient loader for low-moderate volumes (16) and relatively goof-proof reloading (.410).
