Is darkmoon greatsword good.
Magic glintblade is good for people who think their shield is going to protect them, but there aren't very many of those anymore. Canon of haima is good in invasions. All in all, your darkmoon greatsword will be a liability in the arena because it's easy to dodge and short range and great swords are not the best PVP weapons in that venue.

Play whatever you enjoy, and if you like the look of the Darkmoon Greatsword, go for it. Hanging out with Ranni is a great time. It is a very good weapon. If you're trying to min/max or just use the best weapons in general then it is outshined by some others, but that shouldn't really matter if you like it.Personally I like wing of astel far better than moonveil. Free ranged attacks on heavies and a weapon art that can sunblock a lot of bosses. I think the damage output of the wing is better and it's better for PvE. Moonveil is good for PvP but IMO not nearly as powerful for PvE. Have to say Astel Wing gets the W for me.
