To be able to unlock and open the door, we have to physically pull the sliding door latch up to unlock and keep it up, then pull the sliding door manually open. The local mechanic diagnosed and replaced the Latch Assembly (L Sliding Door 72650-SHJ-A22). This cost us $470.
