Medved Taiga is really nice in some ways but actually is .. well it's a pain in the ass bc the game is too hardy even for "the most powerful rifle in the game" (see my post about Rangemaster .338). I found one reliable and consistent hunting area/zone/zones in the Yukon Valley reserve just past the lookout tower by the outpost by the spawn where caribou and moose are quite common. anyone else finds good spots for any other type of deer where there are big herds consistently in one spot.
