Hey guys I recently picked up a 2006 silverado and I am getting a clicking sound that sounds like its under the dash passenger area. All the selections for the ac/defrost/floor etc work correctly. It isnt very loud and you can oly hear it with windows up and radio off.This has happened several times nearly causing several accidents. The vehicle intermittently has reduced engine power while driving and jerks from a complete stop sometimes. Now the oil engine pressure/turn off engine light and alarm go off all the time. See if the noise changes when you press the recirc button and allow the door to reach full open or full closed position. You can also open the glove box, release the retainer so it opens fully and you can get behind it, and put your hand on the recirc actuator (up and to the right) and feel if it is the one making the noise.
