Comcast and TWC are basically the same. This lag is a problem that comes up every couple months and lasts for a week or two so strap in. This problem only effects FFXIV so even if you are getting a great connection on other games you will have FFXIV lag.

Solution: When playing, open your device manager. Click on view and select view hidden device. You will see Xvd (Xvdd) drive. Disable them all by disableling the Xvdd in storage controller.
