BTW, I have the MB8600 modem, which is rated to 6 Gbps per Motorola's literature. If Xfinity can't get it to work beyond 1 Gbps, thehn its an xfinity problem and not the MB8600. Xfinity site says the MB8600 is "incompatible due to filters". This tells me Xfinity has not yet developed the correct filter profile for the MB8600 to work beyond 1 Gbps.
