The A300 would make a nice pheasant gun, among other things, but for smaller, faster birds, a Benelli/Franchi would be just the ticket if you insist on a bottom feeder. That goes double since you can get the inertia guns in 20 Gauge. A 20 Gauge Franchi will cover more upland bases well, than the A300, or any 12, will.

Personally I would pick the Beretta hands down. They are $300 cheaper (with KO) and about $600 cheaper if you get the Beretta without the Kickoff. Benelli's are lighter, but the front end is too light. All of the weight of the gun is in the back and I like a balanced gun as far as weight goes.

The stock on the Affinity feels like cheap plastic to me.
