Simply try the ideal starting procedure (<5 seconds crank), pull a spark plug and check for fuel. If the plug is wet then you have fuel but either no spark or no compression. So the problem I’m having is intermittent starting. It always starts if it cranks. Battery is good. Starter is new. I believe the signal is not getting to the starter. It’s not random and it’s not mechanical within the ignition switch. It always starts first drive of the day or if it’s been sitting for longer than 20 minutes after driving.

We took it into the dealer when it was under the bumper to bumper 36k warranty they said it was to do with the security system and key fobs.
