Looking through the wizard builds, everything seems like it's Pale this or Necro that. Bah I say! Undead should be destroyed, not made into pets! :D There've been a few other newbies who've also asked for non-Pale Master FTP wizards, but they've all seem to have asked for "pure" builds.

But the build as I know it only takes fighter for the feat, it doesn't even have the 4 AP for the haste boost. It gets that from dreadnought instead. In that sense you could also go 18 bard / 1 fvs / 1 wizard for the same result (1 feat). Then 1 AP for the EK cleave can be saved in warpriest for instance.

There's allot of undead in DDO. As a wizard what's your backup plan? i.e. Draconic Epic Destiny and pump the fire or electro breath. The wizard works in this sense like the others work, if you build for self-sufficiency and know how to handle yourself in that environment. But in terms of equipment and EDs, the wizard starts with a clear basic disadvantage: devs deny wizards a design to be a generalist and they deny them an authentic bypass too.
