It's common today to run up on a gang or gangs wearing both colors due to member splitting from the Bloods or the Crips and coming together to form their own gangs but not shedding their old color. I watched some documentary on this issue a couple of years ago where a Blood and Crip talked about blue shooting blue and red shooting red.
