With M-Carbo, it is $500 to get good trigger for the P365 AND a 1.5 - 2 month wait . Yes, the Sig P365 has a God awful break. The P365 X Macro Comp is a great gun, except for the horrendous trigger break.Working as intended. They even put a slide release lock on the magazine. If you put an empty mad in pull the slide back then try to use the release it's locked out. It's meant to allow you to reload faster rather than accessing the slide or release when slamming the mag in. 1.
The tac ops version is going to appeal to a much bigger consumer bloc than the x macro. Which one is best for you will be dependent on where you fall along that bell curve of shooting experience. Which one you prefer is influenced by that but may still be a totally separate factor.The Xmacro with its 17 rd grip is not concealable at all. It’s worse than Glock 19 to conceal. So if that’s what you are considering get a Glock 19 MOS. P365 XL is the subcompact that is comparable to 43x. The P365 XL has a more compact grip than 43x MOS by about 1/4” which makes a difference for concealability.

The only way to get a Sig P365 X-macro with an XL slide is to buy two different pistols and swap the slides. The marketing department at Sig has triumphed over the engineering department. In the meantime, I'm running a Springfield Hellcat Pro that came with five mags from the factory, is exactly the same size as the Xmacro, and cost ~$300 less.

The comp isn't my thing personally so I went with tacops. I love it. Just got it Saturday. For a first CCW get the tacops. A comp is definitely not necessary on the x macro, it's a very smooth shooting gun.The comp definitely makes a difference, especially with self defense ammo (I use 124g HST standard load), but the X Macro comp is basically $150 more. Tacops has two additional mags @ 50 bucks each and the X Macro comp is generally 50 bucks more. I bought a Wilson XL grip module to swap out when I want a more concealable carry for either.
