I encountered no discernible wait time when I drove up to the Clinton dock on Saturday a bit before 5pm. The ferry was super prompt and the ride, super smooth. (Unlike the Seattle-Whidbey ride, this particular route is very short - around 15 minutes, really, - so there's no real time to get out of one's car and walk around, enjoy the view on deck, grab a bite to eat.
