There's 2 automatic rifles from my knowledge, the m16 and m14 is like a civilian rifle, it's pretty shitty, then the m16 is the military rifle, it's pretty good if you have high skill. I've found the m14. Before in a small zed horde in one of the dirt back roads . So you can find them on zombies holstered.
Because the location is far away from any looting points and has lesser supplies. However, you can go on a looting spree over there and head over to some other location. The only other places are a few barracks in the middle of farmland, but I don't think they have any military loot, and a secret base ... Drive around the countryside until you find a dense clump of zombies where it's otherwise quiet. Good chance the middle zombie has a large backpack. Or go to the secret military base and pick up some military backpacks, which are the best in the game.
