The Hyundai never gave me a problem towing. I'd still get 29mpg towing (60-65mph). I changed the oil regularly and used synthetic and changed tranny fluid every 60,000. The xB should tow fine. You do have to pay attention to what you put in the ehicle when you tow--the vehicle has a mx gross vehicle weight.

DTC read P0793 keeps coming back. My 2009 xB started to have this problem about 4 days ago. There's been a delay in gear shifting from 2nd to 3rd. VSC Off and check engine lights are on. Dec 27, 2006 · The xB, like 90% of modern FWD cars, employs unibody construction techniques. Now what he may have meant is that to physically fit the 2ZZ into the xB you must modify, or rebuil part of the chassis on one side. How he knows that, I am not sure. No one has come forward publicly to show an attempt at the swap.

If you have, then it's a good idea to disconnect the battery negative, wait a minute or so, and then reconnect to force the ECU to relearn the engine behavior.
