So despite being a long time fan of the series, a lot of this super in-depth RPG aspects of the game have eluded me. So, I just finished playthrough 2 as Lilith. There are a couple good guides on the gearbox forums for Lilith. Older guide that I personally prefer. Newer guide that is a little more in-depth on some subjects. Basically your best bet is to take skills from all 3 trees and mix and match them to your playstyle.
