I built a simple iron farm in my world and it was working pretty well, getting around a stack in 15 minutes. So, I decided to build a mob farm close to it (around 3 chunks separating them) so that I could AFK in both at once. Both farms worked well for around an hour, until the iron golems stopped spawning. The mob farm is still functional though.

This won't fix your farm but villagers don't need professions anymore since working isn't one of the requirements for iron golem spawning. All you need are 3 villagers, a mob to put them into panic mode, and then a spawnable platform for the iron golem.
