Most importers laser/engrave the frame with their info and serial number. So the frame is indeed serialized I assume as I cannot see it from your images.The serial number plate is grey as well, and that explains it. I called Glock, and sure enough, the pistol is a G22 from 2021, black. Soooo, the quest for a grey pistol continues, but I'll keep this one anyway since it looks so nice.

The G19 slide is too short for the G17 frame and you would end up cutting into the serial number plate if you cut the frame down to fit the shorter slide.
