I'd be going for the lighter and smaller Tamron 70-180 f2.8 G2 over the Sigma 70-200. Everyone is different for sure. They are only seperated by $200 price wise. But the Tarmon is 1lb lighter and 2 inches shorter, of course that being not extended. One pound might not sound like a lot unless you are hiking several miles.

It's entirely subjective, of course, but I think that the Batis 25 and 85 have good pop, as do the Sony 50/1.4 and 35/1.4. Of these, I think I'd rank the 50/1.4 as #1 for pop. I don't own the Loxia 50 but it also seems to have pop. The Loxia 35 can have pop under the right circumstances.
