Estoc dark souls.
Estoc's range and moveset have always been unbalanced in a turtle's hands. Even in 3, where we are now, Havestoc Turtle remains at large. Thankfully I am not the kind of absolute cancerbaby to turtle with havels on and use Bestoc.
Well go with the moveset you feel comfortable with, as that's above all. The rapier has better dex scaling and the estoc has more raw dmg. BUT with a simple infusion the RAPIER AND ESTOC HAVE THE SAME SCALING. So if you're building a magic user go for the estoc and if you're going for faith or flat dex go with the rapier. Hope this helps you out.The extra range on Estoc can be really nice for spacing compared to Rapier. Also, the Estoc I believe has shield splitter, great for damaging through the shield of your opponent. That spell doesn't scale up with your pyro glove; it gives a flat 40% damage boost whether you've got a pyro flame +1 or +15, so don't worry about spending souls on it. As far as stats go, I'd say 15 Int for buffs, 12 or 14 Att depending on how many spell slots you want. Then pump the rest into dex, vit, and end.

I recommend a dex/int build. You'll end up a spellsword. Make sure to get your weapon (estoc, ricard's rapier, balder side sword) to +15 asap. Estoc is a great weapon that doesn't have great damage, especially outside of pvp. Its fast attack speed makes it an ideal weapon for buffing. Buy the magic weapon spell from Griggs of Vinhein and enchant your Estoc with it. At your current intelligence using the sorcerer's catalyst, it will add 122 magic damage to your weapon.
Lothric Knight sword is very good. Estoc isn't as good as it used to be bit it's still decent. Pontiff curved sword is really good and doesn't need infusion. It's an absolutely top tier weapon on a quality build. If you know how to keep on your opponent while rollcatching and punish literally everything they do, then yes.
The Estoc's description says "and its strong attack can even inflict damage upon foes hiding behind shields." It is not presented in the usual way: "Effect: Strong attack pierces shields". I'm uncertain if this is even true or if it only applies to it's 1h strong attack or 2h strong attack. The only Estoc that is D/D is the one in Dark Souls 3, and that's only when it is completely unupgraded. One upgrade level changes it to D/C. The Estoc in DS2 starts at C/D and ends at +10 as B/D. I use a Dark Estoc +10 on my SL120 Pyro build that hits pretty hard. Definitely pisses people off. I don't start with my pyro glove visible so once people get frustrated (with the Estoc or Witch's Locks) I'll start snaking them with the magics. The Estoc is basically a Str based Rapier. With the Ring of Blades and Old Leo Ring, it's unstoppable. That's a good setup for a strength build. The craftsman hammer is a better version of the mace IMO, but you can't do better than the estoc for a fast strength weapon with pierce damage. Both.
