First time I use it this year to cut less than a 1/4 acre when the lower transmission belt chugged for a couple seconds and broke. I go to change it along with the upper and deck belts.

Another option would be to simply use the OEM belt and slot rear pulley mounting hole so it can be moved farther away from the PTO pulley.
