I had to open the Oculus software and then also navigate to the debugger tool and set the encode resolution width to 1800. It now works but it is very laggy so I'm guessing there's some tweaking I'll have to do. I'll come back and do some better step by steps of people are still having the issue! 1. true.

PROBLEM SOLVED HERE! Just install the Oculus app on your phone (Android or Apple, doesn't matter). Then pair the oculus helmet with the app (via bluetooth). This should reboot your device and it should be working fine after that! Let me know if it worked for you.
