Two days later, we saw an empty sac. My HCG levels doubled in the two days, so they scheduled me for another ultrasound a week later. On that appointment, we saw a tiny little heartbeat. It turned out I was only 6 weeks along, 4 weeks 3 days when I had the first ultrasound.
